Toast doesn’t have to be boring or just for breakfast! Here is toast 2 ways to add to your breakfast, lunch or dinner menu!!
Pizza toast.
Serves 1.
Ingredients:
1 slice of sourdough or m
ultigrain toast.
Pasta sauce, 2 tbsp
2 small Baby tomatoes, sliced
1 small baby sweet pepper
2 tbsp baby spinach, shredded.
2 tbsp soft goat cheese or shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
Method:
Spread pasta sauce and layer with veggies. Top with cheese.
Drizzle of olive oil and add oregano and red chilli flakes to taste.
Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes.
Maple walnut banana toast.
Serves 1
Ingredients:
1 slice multigrain toast
2 tbsp smooth peanut butter, natural
Banana, thinly sliced
Strawberry, thinly sliced
1 tbsp pure maple syrup
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tsp granola
Method:
1. Toast the bread until lightly toasted.
2. Spread peanut butter.
3 Layee with banana and strawberries.
4. Drizzle maple syrup and top with chia seeds and granola.
Serving suggestion: Serve with orange blossom roofafza.
Orange blossom Roohafza
Serves 2
Ingredients:
2 tbsp Pakistani Roofafza
2 cups Tropicana orange juice
Mint leaves
Ice cubes
Method:
Pour roohafza in 2 glasses. Add orange juice. Add mint leaves and ice. Stir and serve.
